  idièse is the creative universe of composer and arranger Benoit Groulx, the result of a fervent desire to design a unique space for exploring sound in which acoustic music plays a distinctive role. It is a meeting place for diverse musical currents - classical, jazz, popular - whose influences inspire and stimulate the composition of musical works.
Midièse uses this "democratization of sound" to meet the different requirements of each unique project, whether it be a film score, the symphonic orchestration of a popular song or a phonographic recording. The result is original, diversified works, which always carry the signature style of their author. Combining the expertise and versatility of its founder, Midièse is proud to have associated its creative talents with those of the National Film Board of Canada, the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, the Cirque du Soleil, Lara Fabian and Jorane, among others. Midièse represents the life that musicians give to music, the renewed pleasure of a string quartet, the power of a brass ensemble or the fragility of a whispered note on a clarinet, blending in symbiotic harmony with current multimedia technology.
